Caring Science: Caring Science encompasses a humanitarian, human science orientation to human caring processes, phenomena and experiences. Caring science includes arts and humanities as well as science. Its perspective is a relational ontology, being-in-relation, and a world view of unity, and connectedness. In her most recent works, Watson also developed further the notion of spiritual environment. Drawing on sources as diverse as Eastern philosophy, 12th-century mystic Hildegard von Bingen, and 20th-century artist Alex Grey, Watson situates body within spirit within a field of consciousness that is connected and integral to all consciousness. 10 Within this conceptualization, the nurse moves beyond creating healing environments to becoming a healing environment through the intentional use of consciousness.
I insert here that this is why I am a holistic RN and this is what sets me apart from those who are not. I believe those educated and those who have passed a rather expensive program and a 6 hour national board following 3 major essays to partake in this board are the ones who should be getting paid. This RN speciality educated to be a holistic professional is who you should pay to help you as this education sets us apart from those who act like they are medical professionals. I do believe it somewhat a sin to portray yourself as a medical professional to others when you are not qualified by education to say that you are.
I do believe that you must know the education of the person who is teaching you. Another aspect of knowing who is teaching you is finding out do they do the work. I practice daily prayer and meditation.I do the work for global prayer 3 hours a day. I do the work. Doing the work is more meaningful in the whole consciousness of being who you are. I believe doing the work which involves meditation and prayer for the greater whole is important to who you are.
I have done the work so that others may reap the benefits.
Watson believes consciousness can be shared, creating new energy fields with healing potential in the process. 10 The implications she draws from the interconnectedness of all things do not stop with human interactions but extend to issues that are critical to the health, healing, and survival of the earth and all life on it, revealing an ecologic aspect to her theory.
